Nestled on Fenningham's Island, 45 minutes north of Newcastle, surrounded by National Park, close to surf beaches and sand dunes, secluded and only 15 minutes from Nelsons Bay. We are surrounded by mature forests. In fact we have no neighbours other than animals birds and fish! The forest provides enjoyable, flat walking trails. The National Parks have taken over the surrounding bushland. Our rowdiest friends are the amazing and varied birdlife. Walk around the park and you will see colourful parrots through to majestic sea eagles soaring above.
Six air-conditioned cabins with ensuites which sleep up to six, unpowered camp sites, all in a bushland setting, powered van and grassed tent sites.
We have a fantastic new 31 meter long jetty, with stairs for easy boat access and boat ramp on our water front, bring your fishing rods and take advantage of 800m of pristine waterfront on Port Stephens, or walk along the sandy waters edge and one of our bush tracks. Who else in the area has 400m of sandy beach, boat ramp, plenty of parking and mooring, areas of natural vegetation and no roads or fences between the park and the water.
The Island lagoon pools, designed by Warren Hearn of All Inspiring Pools, is one of the best you will find in Port Stephens, do a few laps or take a drift up the jet powered rapids river relax and stay cool on the beach ledges or get a massage in the spa pool the littlies can stay out of the sun in the sheltered wading pool. The pools are set in the peaceful atmosphere of bushland in a large grassed, landscaped area containing shade sails, picnic tables and amenities it is the perfect way to spend your day.
