If it is a beach front camp site your looking for then Swimcart Beach is the spot for you. If the weathers good its absolute paradise but if the weathers bad it can be very bleak and windswept. Beautiful white sands with turquoise sea it can be very tempting to swim here but be warned there are very strong undercurrents. No bins so take your rubbish with you.

Lovely spots, quite level right on the beach. Short drive to St Helens for supplies. Suitable for large rigs as well. There are several turning circles along the track following the beach so you won’t get stuck, even if you are quite long. We are 9.5m long and drove through very comfortably.

Similar to below. A great place to camp. There are about 25 spots to camp and a good turning circle for large rigs at the end of the track. Rigs over 10 meters may have an issue turning.

A beach front camping area. No conveniences apart from Hybrid toilets. During our stay, many areas were occupied by large motorhomes and caravans, reducing the available capacity. Many potential campers could not find anywhere to stay and moved on. Open areas for good solar. No Optus or Vodaphone reception. Good TV reception. Make sure water tanks are filled at St Helens and waste and toilet are emptied there as no facilities available along the Bay of Fires. Good fish were being caught. The sea was dangerous with rips and dumping waves

Beautiful beachfront sites. Lots of long stay set ups in the beachfront spots, we are lucky enough to fit into a smaller spot by ourselves but several of the larger spots have several caravans/vans in side by side. Surprisingly full for midweek in late April (after school holidays). Long walk to hybrid toilets from most waterfront sites. Probably explains all the TP in the bushes sadly. Otherwise a beautiful spot.
