The Location
This large overnight rest area for RV and Caravans is a bitumen circular layout with grassy areas. It is located on the banks of Lake Hume. It has a boat ramp to launch your boat for fishing or just relaxing. Plenty of shade is provided here from the trees.
Here you will find toilets, picnic tables, BBQ's, fireplaces and dogs are allowed.

This is a wonderful free camp with good facilities which sadly could be lost if people persist in ignoring the rules. Tents, shower tents, full annexes, camp fires burning next to no campfire signs, cutting firewood from the reserve. Generally ignoring every rule. Lots of spaces in spite of soggy grounds and community camp groups.

Loved this spot for overnight. Only one other van. There is a bit of traffic on the nearby road but it isn’t any bother. The toilets are well maintained.

Ludlows Reserve has been updated to 24 hrs for RV's and caravans. There is currently works in progress for a new under cover BBQ.

RVs have been given a section of a Boat Launching facility off the Murray Valley Highway. Toilets. grass. Phone reception. A bike Trail goes past, making a good morning exercise path. Beautiful sunrise over the lake.

Beautiful rest area right on the banks of Lake Hume. The High Country Rail Trail runs past it going between Wodonga and Tallangatta. The trail is in good condition and worth the ride, particularly down to the very impressive cycle bridge over Sandy Creek. This spot is very large, no problem for big rigs, is very well cared for, clean modern toilets and the undercover electric BBQs are excellent, and clean.

Great overnighter. Plenty of grassy space. Good toilets. A bit busy with locals boating on Sunday. Nice quiet night. Would recommend it.

Great overnight free camping. Has everything you need, Little road noise and a great sunrise over the water.
