Of the three camping grounds at Kroombit Tops, Griffiths Ck is the most accessible. It is a large open area with shady trees. A great place to base yourself for a couple of days whilst exploring the area. Remember though there are no facilities, so be self sufficient. It can get crowded over holidays or long weekends. It can also get chilly during winter. Although it shouldn't need to be mentioned, PLEASE take your rubbish out with you and not throw it in the car parks or camping grounds. At the time of my visit I was amazed at the amount of nappies, toilet paper and general rubbish left in the car park at the bomber crash site. Please be respectful. Otherwise enjoy your visit to Kroombit Tops, it's a lovely region.

Griffith Creek camp is a treamendous location. We towed our van in from Calliope with absolutely no issues, need to be aware the access route is narrow and windy, just drive to the conditions. The site is beautifully presented, thanks National Parks for your efforts, my description, what a pristine large, generous grassy site, even appareared mown. As previous review, base yourself here and take in parks other attractions in day trips.
