Lovely campground! Ladies at reception very welcoming and helpful. We had no booking and were offered a site in the overflow area, a dirt area, $25 unpowered, bit of a walk to amenities. As we were booking in, a cancellation came through and we were then offered a powered site for $50. Much nicer, close to amenities, still dirt, only tent sites were grassed, but we were in the desert after all! Plenty of room. Amenities great and always spotless, grounds beautiful. I didn't use ALL the washing machines, but didn't have a problem with any! Yes, the Yulara Power Station is close by, but the noise is not bad. Enjoyed our stay.

Tripigy has had team members in this park multiple times. Unfortunately although the location is good the park itself is very mis-managed. This may be due to the park being the only kind of camping/caravan accommodation in the area i.e. monopoly of the area. It's a large park and the sites are OK, there is some grass but not a lot. Have a good read of the Tripadvisor and other reviews. The problem in the park is more then likely a communication/management problem and less focused on the actual property. As so many have managed ensure that your arrangements are confirmed (multiple times) and probably is best to stay away during peak periods. Amenities are not being maintained i.e. only one washing machine working in the entire park, green dirty pool, etc

Friendly staff, big level sites, great courtesy shuttle bus takes you to other hotels & Town Square in the resort & runs every 15 minutes. Campground does not have own DP .. 10 minute drive away.

Good facilities. Enjoyed my stay. Just be aware that all transactions are EFTPOS and no cash accepted.

Good Campground with power & water. They won't check you in until 11am so a queue at that time Amenities are clean. BBQ's around the park were the cleanest we had seen. EFTPOS only in Town Square. Free shuttle bus no dump point but Dump Ezy is at Tuit Cres 4km away.

We had a good experience here, largely because we got a site out on the edge, next to the dune i.e. not squeezed into the crowd. Staff were good, facilities clean. Best to book in advance, which means phoning from the Stuart Hway before you lose mobile reception. The resort is a big place, it takes a day or two to work out where everything is. For some reason tour bookings are only taken F2F at the information centre (don't bother trying to phone).

Our experience was somewhat better than tripigy teams. Tent camp areas were well grassed more than one (but by no means all) washing machines worked and showers were pretty good (eg paper towels for the wash basin). We stayed in the back paddock - lots of room but no grass and not much shade and a bit of a walk to the toilets - but it was $25 a night compared to $43 on a powered site with very close neighbours. There is also a big power station out the back - diesel powered? - that chugs away night and day and can be heard through the paddock but also on many $43 sites as well. If you are travelling with dog it is the only place... and if you ask around it is not that hard to find someone to mind your dog for the day. Try Clint at Professional Flight Services in the info centre - his girlfriend Rina looked after our Bess for a day.
