This free overnight rest area is a dirt surface with some shade available. It is the historic site where early explorer Edward Eyre camped. A short walk will take you to Eyre's Waterhole which was an important water supply for the explorer and the local aboriginal people. It's also known as Cooeyanna Well.
Sandy rest area, some shade. Quiet at night, a great stop near Streaky Bay.
