Wildman Wilderness Lodge

Wildman Wilderness Lodge invites you to voyage into Australia’s Top End for an immersive adventure. Just two hours east of Darwin, on the fringe of Kakadu National Park, the lodge offers the ultimate in bush luxury, nestled in the lush Mary River wetlands area.

Opened in April 2011, Wildman Wilderness Lodge is situated on the beautiful Mary River Wetlands - around half way between Darwin and Kakadu - and offers travellers the opportunity to explore this amazing region while staying in a choice of stylish eco lodge and safari tent accommodation.

Wildman is a small-scale, high quality safari lodge featuring a variety of boutique and environmentally sensitive touring options, including tours of Kakadu National Park and cruising on the Mary River. Its teeming wildlife and unique tours a world far removed from your own, yet with all the modern comforts of great accommodation, delicious meals and wine to enjoy at the end of each day.

Wildman Wilderness Lodge offers two distinct styles of accommodation. There are 10 air conditioned habitats from Wrotham park Lodge. These are free standing, fully air conditioned structures with all the amenities expected in a luxury lodge including premium quality furnishings, king size beds and ensuite bathrooms.

15 new spacious safari tents have been custom designed for the site to complete the accommodation. Each is fan cooled with a private bathroom and luxurious bedding. Five tents are configured for families and sleep up to four people. The main lodge - also from Wrotham - has been expanded to house the bar and restaurant which engenders a low key but stylish place to relax for breakfast right throughout the day to after dinner drinks.

Wildman Wilderness Lodge operates between April and November each year closing for the wet season.

At Wildman Wilderness Lodge, we have designed a menu that includes only Australian and Territory produce such as barramundi, local beef, crocodile and buffalo, infused with the finest Australian indigenous bush ingredients, such as lemon myrtle, pepperberry and bush tomatoes.

To match these delicacies are our carefully selected Australian wines and beers, hand-picked from some of the finest vineyards and breweries around Australia. 

Enjoy a quick bite from the snack menu for all day dining or to accompany a cooling cocktail as you sit by the pool.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
