The Location

Lake Argyle Caravan and Camping Park is situated 35 km off the Victoria Highway at the end of a sealed road offering stunning Kimberley views.  Our Kimberley Caravan Park covers an area of more than 5 hectares with over 100 shady powered van sites and ample room for unpowered camping.  Shaded by large hills to the west in the afternoon, the park is set in a peaceful location surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

There is an onsite restaurant, bar and shop with basic supplies such as bread, milk, ice, bait, gas and fuel.  A range of souvenirs are available from the shop as well as cold drinks, ice creams and snacks plus an Information and Tour booking centre where the friendly staff will help you with all your East Kimberley tour requirements.

It is a great place to base yourself away from the hustle and bustle of the large towns to enjoy your exploration of the East Kimberley region with easy access to great walking trails and scenic lookouts.

You can spend many days here enjoying the spectacle that is Lake Argyle.

A haven for birdwatchers, a number of rare species can be found in or close to the caravan park.

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our amenity blocks and laundry facilities.  BBQ’s, camp kitchens and a restaurant provide plenty of eating options.

Now Open!! The most spectacular pool in the Kimberley.  35 metres of infinity wet edge, spa and some of the most breathtaking scenery in Australia!!

Other accommodation options within the Park include:  4 bedroom/4 bathroom Lake View Grand Villas, 1 & 2 bedroom Lake View units, Studios, Cabins and our unique Safari Style Tent Cabins.

We are open all year round and due to popular demand in the busy dry season (June to August), it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Lake Argyle Restaurant / Cafe is open seven days per week, serving great snacks and meals.  From November to March the kitchen is open for short periods serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner please call us on 08 9168 7777 to check on our current meal times.  Other snacks and drinks are available from the general store throughout the day and the bar is open from 11am.

If travelling by road from the Northern Territory, plan your journey so you use up fresh fruit and vegetables before crossing the border as Quarantine restrictions apply and your vehicle will be searched.

Beautiful park with large sites. Restaurant food was very good. Pool was great. Easiest way to book is to phone as online is not working properly. G'day park discount available. Cruise on Lake Argyle is a must as is the Argyle Homestead Museum.

What a lovely site to stay, however, unless you are able to book their limited on-line sites, it is a case of just turn up and hope. It is such a popular place June to August, there is no phone booking, just arrive and register with parking attendant and then wait for a phone call. We arrived at 8.30 am and finally enough people left so a site was available at 11.30 am. Infinity pool is beautiful but freezing cold despite 30C day. An another place to experience and enjoy.
