This truly is an oasis after you have just travelled across the dusty and corrugated Savannah Way from the west. The owners John, Jenny and son Scotty have done wonders with this roadhouse and turned it into something special. Great amenities, shady green grassed sites, cold beer, great food and friendly staff. Helicopter flights also available across the Gulf region. If visiting from the east, you don’t even need to worry about the corrugations, as there is just 15kms of good quality unsealed road, the rest sealed. It is also a successful working cattle station. Highly recommend.
