A cheap alternative for a stop over. Could be very muddy if it rains. It is OK here but not great. A 15 minute walk to town and train.

We have stayed 8 nights here very enjoyable, grounds are well maintained and spacious, we used Morisset as a base to explore the area. Newcastle has a lot to offer. The dump point is a little difficult to access for Big Rigs.

This site is closed. The contact phone number is not connected. The council website has nothing about the camp site. When we arrived the gate is locked with NO information.

New shower facilities. Open area with plenty of space. Limited powered sites on market days, 1st Saturday of the month.

Great location, nice caretakers & super clean amenities. Gates closed at night. Will stay again.

The site is open with instructions at the entry on how to book. When you contact the number given they take your payment and give you the pin code to lift the boom gate. Same code is needed for the very modern showers. Not cheap for an unpowered site but very little available in this area at a reasonable price!

A good site with good clean amenities. Lake Macquarie Council now handles the bookings which must be done online and it is an absolute pain.
