Set in a quiet location and surrounded by natural bushland, the Tarnagulla Recreation Reserve is within easy walking distance of the Tarnagulla Township.
Featuring a historic two storey pavilion built in 1884; this unique reserve is available for camping with toilets, showers and playground available for all visitors.
The caretaker on site is very help full and the camp site is very basic. More of a self contained set up around the oval although there is toilets and pay showers available. No power available with a hotel in town and the post office has limited groceries supplies. A top safe spot for the kids.

Enjoyed our time at this Reserve and there is a caretaker on site. Toilets were kept clean and were being painted January 2017. Dam behind the reserve is a great place to visit as well.

A great place to chill for a couple of days and explore the area or go gold fossicking. Caretaker does his rounds daily and facilities are clean. Potable water from tap near caretakers cottage. Fire pits are few, best to bring your own choofer. We loved this area.
