No shade here and it is just dirt. No wonder caravaners want to get out when it rains as if they got a big down pour, the Thompson River which is close by would flood the area. Be nicer and safer if there was some of a base to it.

Stopped for a night earlier in the month, friendly welcoming party of roosters, just us and a van, plenty of room nice and quiet all for $5 a night.

We have stayed here for 2 nights mid December And no problem, only us and a caravan, plenty of room, close to town, no water though but River is close if you fancy a swim, highly recommend the stockman's hall of fame and the Qantas founders museum but allow plenty of time, 2 days min.

This site is dirt but for $3 per night it is OK. Does get crowded during winter and could do with a dump point.
