Stayed there for a week in September while visiting Darwin. Found it convenient to the city attractions. Had a reasonably shady site and rain started to green the grass when we left. Wifi patchy. Flight noise only occasional - mainly daytime. Amenities clean. Reception lady friendly.

We were very disappointed with the Darwin Park having stayed at two other Discovery parks in the recent months. The Discovery Darwin Park was cramped dusty and poorly maintained. It was expensive the rate increasing from $45 to $49 per night as from the 1st June. We consider that this was over-priced and a more realistic rate would have been around the $30 mark. The park staff are not particularly helpful and those in the campground hardly spoke or acknowledged anyone. The one response I got on a Sunday morning when I asked if some one was busy was Its Sunday I am doing as little as possible. Internet WIFI is available but it was limited to one voucher valid for 200Mb for the whole of our twelve-day stay. This compared with a 2Gb allowance for a two-day stay at the Robe Discovery Park some four months earlier. This 200Mb is a derisory amount and at the very least I would expect the 200Mb allowance should be available on a daily basis.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and certainly now on my NEVER AGAIN list. Cramped sites, very noisy as it’s close to the flight path for the airport with aircraft noise day and night. Lots of flies during the day and at night be prepared to be eaten alive by the sandflies, midgies, and Mosquitoes. The office must know this is true as they are selling an anti itch cream at reception. I have stayed in many different parks over the years and certainly this place was the worst overall by far. Yes they are close to a regular bus service and they have two pools and a fancy office/reception area but any stay anywhere is about the overall experience. I certainly can not recommend this park to anyone.
