This free overnight rest area is a well setout bitumen area. It has some shade available. It has toilets, water, picnic tables, fireplaces and dogs are permitted.
The monument here memorialises early explorer John McDouall Stuart
Drove past this morning and was well patronized. There is a surprisingly large area to camp in and good facilities. Worth considering if not wanting the environs of a station stay.

Reasonable amount of room. Clean and tidy with plenty of rubbish bins. Good for an overnighter. Long drop toilet but was clean.
