We drove the Old Telegraph Track - Northern Section (aka Old Telegraph Track) (Track Class = Very Difficult) on 11/08/2022. The track was in poor condition. Weather conditions whilst on the track were dry. Driving a 79 Series, the track took 6 hours to complete (at a max speed of 15 km/hr). Obstacles/notable features on the track: Canal creek, Sam Creek, Cypress Creek, Logan’s Creek, Nolan’s creek (all deep water crossings). Other important notes about the track: Access to Fruitbat, Elliot, Twin falls and Saucepan via South end of Northern Tele Track. Suitability for caravan = No, Suitability for camper = No. Overall rating of the track 5/5.
