The Location
Archer River Roadhouse is located 200km south of Weipa right on the banks of the crystal clear Archer River and is the last stop before the turn off towards the tip of Cape York.
The Roadhouse is famous for the massive Archer Burger, which can be enjoyed with a refreshing icy cold beer under the recently expanded patio.
There is a range of accommodation types to suit all tourist preferences and budgets; Lush green camping grounds, shared units or ten fully air-conditioned single bedrooms.

Reviews
Great stop before heading into the track. Heaps of space, showers and toilets and great basic clean units available. Staff are wonderful and friendly and food is great. Last 4G spot before heading to the tip. Highly recommend this oasis in the middle of the desert!
