The Location
It is an easy drive from Bamaga, through the Lockerbie Scrub, to the Tip of Australia. You can park in the designated area or on the beach.
The walk to the Tip from the car park is over rock and can be steep in some areas.
The beach on the western side of the Tip is called Frangipani Beach.
