The Location
Canal Creek is a great place to swim with numerous shallow spots and an easy crossing with a firm bottom.
The large camping area is on the left hand side before you cross the creek with other places near the old linemans hut on the right. There are a number of camping sites also on the northern side of the creek.
The creek is croc free.
