The Location
Here at Banyan Tree Resort, on the doorstep of Litchfield National Park, we like to take life easy. Escape reality and dive into the tranquillity of the Banyan Tree’s sparkling fairy light’s by night. By day give our animals a treat or just enjoy the peace that comes with being surrounded by grazing wildlife. What ever you do, don’t forget to head down for a quick dip in some of the Top End’s MUST SEE waterfalls.
We do enjoy entertaining at the tree. So come and see for yourself and be amazed by the live music acts from around Australia. If you’re lucky the man with the big cowboy hat might sing you a song or you might catch a glimpse of some girls mowing in bikinis!

A quiet, but well established location, with lovely tall trees providing an avenue of shade and breezes. Good facilities and pool, new owners since our first visit here in 2013. Lovely to be back. Good place to base for visiting Litchfield NP. Friday nights have entertainment and pizza. Great alfresco area around a huge tree with encompassing aerial roots.

Shady, nice swimming pool, food available at reception (pizza, burgers, other food varies). In mid-June had 1 washing machine but a second washing machine was being installed. Telstra reception is 4 bars at reception, but 1-2 bars in the caravan area. Shower block was fine, well used, but clean. Happy Hour from 5-6pm at the front. Ice creams are $6.50 each - ouch!
