If it wasn't for the thermal pools, you would probably not entertain staying here. Absent owners do not make for a friendly, engaging stay.

Spoke to the proprietor and were told that the phone line was taken out by lightning weeks ago and Telstra are having great difficulty repairing so that is why it is always engaged.  She said if you want to book a site contact the local hotel. But the caravan park is booked out for the school holidays and she has a covid restriction of 20 sites, so it is very limited.  This restriction also means that she cannot open the pools to the public, which only leaves the river. If you want to go I'd suggest the roadside camp east of town and then drive into Innot

Friendly pleasant outlook, a pool temperature to suit every taste from freezing to boiling, five pools. Toilet facilities basic, plenty of room with some shade. 24 hour access to pools for guests only. Up over the bridge. No television, internet Ok, mobile patchy.

Grounds sre level, had a great spot looking out at wetlands. Pools were extremely relaxing and they monitored the pH daily. Office staff were friendly and helpful.

8 Oct 2020 The covered hot pools are now open and are looking great we only stayed on a Thursday night. It was pizza night at the pub within walking distance and they had someone singing as well but they tell me Saturday night goes off with a band that has been playing the pub for ten years

What you are paying for here is access to the hot pools. You camp in a dust bowl with little shade and facilities are old and dirty especially the camp kitchen. If the hot pools are what you're after then this is the place for you. Pub is ok too.
