The Location
This would have to be the most recognized and feared crossings at the Cape.
The original Gunshot crossing has now deteriorated to the stage of being impassable. There are a number of "chicken tracks" that can be taken with the most used one being on the left as you enter the track. The exit out can be a little steep.
There are numerous camping spots on the northern side of the crossing and well shaded.
Croc free swimming.

We did the crossing making our entry from the far right, drove along through the creek with a sharp right hand turn to exit up a steep bank.
