The Location
This is a large grassy camp area with lots of shade. It is a lovely area to stay and explore from. With lovely views of the running creek, you can relax.
Here you will find powered/unpowered sites, toilets, hot showers, water and pets are allowed.
Please note: swimmers like to jump off the rocks at the bottom of the creek. Please respect the neighbours/land owners by not climbing up to their garden and jumping off the top rock.
Check in is after 11am, check out before 10am.
For powered sites, please book by calling the office or via the website. For unpowered sites, please call the office.
Please bring your own fire pits and if unable to do so, there is some in the office for purchase. Firewood and kindling available for purchase at the office as well.
The dump point is open during office hours where you can obtain the key.

I would give this place 5 stars if not for the toilets. The toilets are a disgrace. Doors do not lock, out of toilet paper, old, decrepit, they don't 'feel' clean. Length of stay is limited to 2 weeks. There is a discount for seniors. Caretakers are fine, even good. The camping here is busy with a lot coming and going. So there is real money coming in. No excuse for the state of the toilets, they can afford better.

This a a good camp spot close to town. Plenty of room with power & water. The town is lovely with a nice pub for meals. The camp area is dog friendly. It’s a bit disappointing that you pay for staying and then you have to pay for a shower. The campers leave the camp kitchen in a mess and even though the amenities are cleaned, they always seem to be dirty. I think this is the only option for RV accommodation.

Fantastic place to camp. Large grassy areas with loads of room. Good toilets and showers, great camp kitchen and a newly installed dump point makes this spot almost perfect. About a 10/15 minute easy walk into the town. Bit expensive compared to other Showgrounds.

Great spot to camp, showers cost $1 - I never needed a 2nd coin. There is a 14 day max stay per 28 days.

Great little spot, pub has meals Thursday to Sunday. Don’t forget to leave a donation for the shower.
