Stawell - VIC RVFT

Stawell is located in the Wimmera region of Victoria, 237km west-north-west of Melbourne. Stawell is the closest large town to the Grampians National Park, making this town an ideal base from which to explore the natural attractions in the area.

Scallan Street provides visitors with casual parking, a dump point and potable water. For those looking at staying overnight, the Lions Park is located just 5kms out of town on the corner of the Western Highway and Grampians Road.

Just to the east of Stawell is Big Hill, offering fantastic views over the town centre and surrounding countryside, and just 28kms north-west of Stawell on the Western Highway is the small community of Dadswells Bridge, famous for a 14-metre-high fibreglass and bronzed koala statue.
