The Location
Named after Dan O’Mara, a man lost in the area, the Aboriginal trackers assisting in the search had difficulty pronouncing his name. Dan was never found but you won’t miss his names sake. Located 320km’s south of Katherine on the Stuart Hwy, Dunmarra services travellers and the local cattle stations providing fuel, food and accommodation rooms and powered and unpowered sites. Friendly owners.
