The Location
Deep Lake is just 4.5km from the beautiful township of Derrinallum in South West Victoria and is located just off the Hamilton Highway. The Lake offers spectacular views of Mount Elephant and has toilets, boat launching facilities and a state of the art floating jetty.
Well-maintained camping facilities (unpowered) and hot showers are available for campers on the banks of the Lake, maintained by an active volunteer committee of management.
The local angling club has lakeside facilities that are available for hire.

A nice grassy site with shade. There is an overflow area outside. Facilities are in line with the fees. $5 per night per adult.

We stayed here four nights the week after Aust Day, wonderful place, so peaceful and lovely birdlife. Boating activity on Sunday. Op shop had cake stall on Friday, pay camping fees to any retailer. Thank you to the community.
