The Location
This large free overnight rest area is located on the beach of Encounter Bay. There is a 4WD access track to the beach from here as well. It is a sealed parking area that is suitable for self contained motorhomes and caravans only. There are no facilities here. The view from here is gorgeous and it's a great place for swimming and fishing.

A very peaceful spot to stay, slightly sloping carpark. It can be windy. No facilities at all. Lovely walks along beach, sand firm at low tide for 4 wd vehicles. Please take all rubbish with you.

Beautiful spot, although very windy while we stayed. Four other vans camped over night. Easy beach access for long walks with dog.
