In the heart of the Wild Scotsman country, between Childers and Miriamvale and one hour west of Bundaberg in the town of Gin Gin, Lake Monduran Holiday Park is a great holiday destination for those who enjoy big barramundi fishing, boating and kayaking in a family friendly environment. The holiday park is a hidden treasure, just a short four kilometre drive from the Bruce highway and you’ll find a range of accommodation and leisure options to choose from.  We also offer completely pet friendly caravan and camping sites that allow you to bring your pet along on your barra fishing or holiday adventure.

We offer self-contained cabins, holiday houses as well as powered and unpowered caravan/camping sites. The camp area includes a large amenities block with showers and toilets, a laundry with washers and dryers, modern camp kitchen with picnic area and electric BBQs and a dump point. There is an onsite kiosk, and for the fishermen we also have facilities for cleaning fish, an onsite fishing guide and tackle shop with Big Barra Boat Hire and fishing permits.

Excellent camp ground and very suitable for Motorhomes. Fantastic chill out spot. Close enough to Gin Gin if you need supplies. Friendly managers and facilities kept in great shape. Very happy to recommend ????

Drove to dam for look. A man (looked like he was cleaning amenities ) watched us like a hawk while we drove through and the same when we drove out, we waved but he just stared at us with dagger looks. We drove to picnic area near boat ramp and there is a no camping sign with caravan park emblem on it. We drove on to Gin Gin lovely free camp.

This is a great place if you want piece and quiet. While not what I would call an up market park it is quite adequate with good facilities and camp kitchen, even has a mini golf course. There are various areas with power and acres of area for unpowered camping. There is a boat ramp near by and excellent fishing in the dam where they often conduct major fishing competitions. The dam is regularly restocked.
