we came down for labour day long weekend 2015, the sites are large and very flat, so great for campertrailers, amenities are new, and very nicely appointed. While most signage indicated 'no fires' plenty of people had fire drums and braziers. As advertised its just behind the dunes and close to the surf club. probably one thing to consider is the absolute lack of shade, around the campsites not sure if the have plans to plant some trees in time, but over summer it would be hot.
