It's not known exactly how old the petroglyphs are - or their meaning - as this knowledge is kept between senior Arrernte men This is a men's site and Arrernte women are not allowed here The best time to visit the reserve is during the morning and late afternoon Stay on the marked trails and do not photograph or touch the engravings.
