Formerly the Wannamal School. Nicely tucked away off the road, large graveled area surrounded by trees. Suitable for all size rigs, school buildings have gone, but the flushing toilets remain, they are old but well serviced and clean. Rubbish bins. . Also a cook shelter and BBQ on site along with a comprehensive information board and historic notes. Nice and quiet with just the usual morning and afternoon local traffic.

A brilliant place for an overnight stay. Flat, level gravel base, toilets and BBQ’s. Would be a perfect stop during wild flower season. Good Telstra and Optus

A very popular free camp spot of which many caravan clubs make use. The Shire of Chittering pays a local to clean the toilets daily. A good stop before heading into or through Perth if heading south.

Stayed Thu 9th September. The facilities were very clean and adequate for the size of the camp. The little bit of road noise during the evening all but ceased overnight. A kind soul left some mandarins and lemons for us travellers. A gesture very much appreciated. As always we left no trace, except for a monetary donation in the strong box. Thank you Wannamal.
