Menindee Lakes Caravan Park, which is located on a Crown land reserve on the eastern shores of Lake Menindee, was brought under the management of the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment – Crown Lands in August 2020. The managers have had to make a lot of changes, there is no longer a dump point, cabins, camp kitchen, BBQs, picnic tables or shade! Water is now non potable, and the amenities for people with disabilities are not at the required standard. Gas bottles are no longer available. Although they no longer have firepits, BYO above ground fire pits are fine to use.

Spent 3 very peaceful nights right on the lake. ?? Amazing sunsets. Were a few people taking advantage of there being no care taker and not paying, either by phoning (there is only Telstra service here), or using honesty envelopes for cash in the laundry. ?? Would definitely stay again
