The Location
There are a number of informal camping areas in the Conservation Area. Visitors should be aware that there are designated unserviced camping areas.
Unserviced camping may impact on highly sensitive natural and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage sites. Camping areas are provided at Nelson Bay, Rebecca Creek, Stinking Beach and Sandy Cape.
Visitors should seek further information and advice by contacting the Arthur River PWS Office on (03) 6457 1225.

This site is now permanently booked out for the entire opening period, a handfull of caravans have the entire area. is even a waiting list. sad but true.

No facilities, hence 3 stars. But, it is a great location, close to a couple of walks. A few long-termers, but still plenty of space. Level sites. At the turn-off to Nelson Bay is an information bay, with envelopes for you to deposit your $6. Honesty is the best policy.

Beautiful but could be quite exposed to wind. $8 to PWS or at main intersection
