About

The Location

Bordered by bushland and sheltered by the headland behind it, this small park has an intimate, secluded feel to it and features all the modern conveniences and creature comforts without the crowds. The close proximity to the beach is a large part of what makes this caravan park so well loved. Pitch a tent, park your caravan or stay in one of the spotless self-contained cabins. Some cabin have balconies overlooking the beach and this stunning stretch of coastline is undeniably the main attraction. Take a stroll along the beach, hit the waves or climb the hill to enjoy the incredible views from North Burleigh lookout.

There’s great cafe and surf club just outside the park, but it’s only a short stroll to the vibrant precinct of Nobby’s Beach which is home to an array of boutiques, bars, coffee shops and restaurants.

The park is located conveniently close to the highway making it easy to access public transport and explore further afield. No need to worry about noise though – the crashing of the waves easily drowns out the sound of any traffic. Book a stay with Ocean Beach Tourist Park to enjoy the best of both worlds – the excitement and entertainment of the Gold Coast when you want to get amongst it, and a quiet, coastal retreat when you want a break.

Spent five nights here from 9th Nov in a motorhome with power and water hookup. Great access to the beach and short walk to busses, either north or south. Can use Go Card for travel on busses or light rail. The one complaint I had was that there is no Wifi. This was the same with Burleigh Heads. It seems that since the council went on to NBN, they decided not to allow the park patrons to use Wifi.
