The Location
This free overnight rest area is located just off the southbound lane of the highway. It is a bitumen drive through layout. There is grassy areas here but they are bollarded off. You will find toilets with disabled access, picnic tables, non-potable water and dogs are permitted. There are some trees here to provide shade. It is named after Victoria Cross recipient William Kibby who died in battle 1942.
