About

The Location

Collie River Valley Tourist Park is your peaceful home from home, to explore the National Parks, waterways, birdlife and many beautiful attractions and activities that Collie and surrounding towns offer.

We are very proud of our location and facilities. Set amongst large shady trees, its huge 9m x 9m bitumised and kerbed sites are big enough for most of our guests.

A large steel-roofed Marquee with canvas sides is a popular meeting place for groups to have the social get-togethers or a bit of peace and quiet.

Then there is the huge camp kitchen, fitted out with pool table, dart board and café booths for that meal or quiet jigsaw puzzle while you watch your favourite movie or soapie on the large TV. Recently renovated, it is a great place for a quiet moment.

The Park is a great hub for this exciting part of the South West. Located about 58kms from the coastal city of Bunbury, and a comfortable 2.5 hour drive from Perth.

While in Collie, peer into a huge Coal super-pit, swim in the Collie River, walk, cycle or paddle in the areas around the super-town. Then take an exciting journey through town to explore some of the beautiful attractions before venturing to the many points of interest around the lovely Collie. Everything is about 30-45 minutes away, from the Harris Estate Winery in the North, to Donnybrook in the South and Ferguson Valley in the west.

The Marquee is a central point for “Happy hour”, meetings and sharing meals/games. In the colder times of the year, we’ll scrub down the outdoor heaters, charge them up to keep folk warm in the evenings. The Marquee can also be used by caravan clubs, motoring groups, sporting participants, competitors and teams from all walks of life.

A new dual King plate BBQ has recently been installed with a lit covered area and seating to enjoy your meals at all times of the year.

Caravan & Camping Sites

The 80 huge 9m x 9m bitumised sites edged in concrete are all powered and accommodate most requirements. Some of the sites have steel covers to protect you from the beating sun or torrential rain. Several have shady spots, attractive in summer while others are without cover to warm you up in winter. Something for everyone. Our two large freshly painted amenity blocks have spacious hot showers with shower curtains.

Camp grounds for up to 15 tent sites are also available for big and small groups. The main camp area is right next to the newly renovated camp kitchen/recreation area and amenities. Two large laundries with coin-operated washing machines and dryers compliment this great park.

A great place to set up home ready to explore this wonderful area with so much to see and do.

We recommend this park to all CMCA members, the owners are welcoming and eager to answer any questions about the park or area. The facilities are exceptionally clean and serviced regularly. The parking bays are large with metal carports if needed. A great place to stay.

Would totally recommend this park. Patrick and Lorna are lovely friendly people and their staff are just as lovely and friendly. All the facilities are clean and tidy and the park grounds are the same. Great place to stay and Collie itself is beautiful, plenty to see and do.
