The Location
This large free camping area is located on the banks of the river. It is not suitable for swimming, however it's a good fishing spot. There is a nice bush walking track here.
There is plenty of camping sites here with your choice of shade or full sun. It is quite open with trees dotted around the area.
Here you will find drop toilets with disabled access, picnic tables and fireplaces. Dogs are permitted here.
To access the camp site, make your way 2.5km south east of Koondrook and then drive via the weir along Canoe Trail. There are plenty of campsites alongside the Victorian side of the river.
