Excellent. Grassy area next to the football ground. Quiet. Phone reception - depends on supplier. No amenities as self contained. 600 metre walk to main street which has hotel (being renovated), hall with public toilets, post office swimming pool and regional high school. A number of other shops now closed. Ideal stopping place away from the hustle of Derby, which has been taken over by mountain bikes.

Just off the highway, on the edge of town is the rec ground. Large flat grassy areas around the playing field to park on. Its very quiet. The pub is a 500 m walk with meals in the range of $18-$30. And very generous serves. Community shop is open Wed to Sat and offers local produce, milk and bread, hand made items and more. Great place to stop in for a coffee and a chat with the locals. They are looking at opening the toilets to campers. No donation box at the moment but they are looking at putting one in. You can make a donation towards upkeep at the post office or community shop
