The Location
We have up to 25 spacious powered and water-provided sites available within the Ipswich Showgrounds. Our sites offer elevated locations with wonderful views of the city of Ipswich. Conveniently positioned close to the City Centre, there is access to shopping, dining and parklands, just a short drive from the Caravan Park.
Our caravan park offers short term stays only.
We offer:

- Outdoor kitchen facility
- $30 per night per site for up to 2 people
- Additional Adults at $15 per night
- Children 6 to 16 years of age – $2.50 per person per night
- Children 5 years and under – Free
- Pets welcome – PLEASE BE ADVISED that one dog per site is permitted. Any additional dogs must be approved in writing by the Society.
- Campervans, Caravans, Motorhomes and Camper trailers welcome
- Unfortunately we do not permit tents.

Otherwise stop in at the Office to book your stay. The office trading hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. For out of hours or weekend bookings – please book online.
Our sites are approximately 8.4m wide and 10m deep, with the exception of one (1) oversized site for larger caravans being 15m – Site#18 only.

A great, quiet and safe place to stay. The grounds are level with power and water available. You receive a pin code for the toilets and showers from the staff. The dump point can be used anytime. Highly recommend.

Very often wether these places are enjoyable can hinge on the caretaker. In this case there is a manager for this large complex her name is Jacqui and she is pretty awesome. Very professional and most importantly accessible.

School holiday week and Showground is full of campers - no children. We stayed in the back area near the main road. Noisy until about 8pm - cars that need mufflers that go up and down the road. Markets are on this Sunday and therefore we need to leave the back area by Saturday. Found it’s expensive at $25 because we are 8m long. And no power or water requested but is dog friendly and there are few dog friendly camping facilities in this area or near the coast that have accommodation this week. Clean and tidy grounds. Toilet block old but clean and serviced.

Management need to level Site 19. The sideways slope is pronounced and unacceptable.

Dry base, no grass, sites are numbered and well spaced. All sites include water and power and are costed as such. Tidy and clean, amenities block small but modern. Managed by Show Society volunteers. Sunday markets were a bonus.

Top spot. Right in town. Efficiently run, reception and grounds care is excellent. This is part of a really large area, you can get lost in here, we did at night and had to use GPS to extract ourselves. Overall we had no complaints and will return. The stay limit is a week, but I had a hospital stay 2 mins up the road and they were happy to extend for me.
