Whether you’re after activities and adventure or peace and quiet, Forrest can provide it, and all set in the heart of Victoria’s beautiful Otway Ranges. At Forrest we might be a little biased about our beautiful little town, but a visitation boom, and spike in high-quality tourism businesses, including accommodation and hospitality, is an indication that visitors love Forrest as much as we do.

Forrest has rapidly become one of the best holiday destinations in the Great Ocean Road hinterland, situated just a 30-minute drive through the Otways from the iconic coastal route. There are plenty of varying options when it comes to accommodation in Forrest Holiday Park, ranging from self contained cabins, to powered caravan sites, and unpowered camping. There really is accommodation to suit any type of holiday, from a family getaway to an outdoor adventure.

Forrest has a variety of food and dining options to suit just about any palate. The best part is, when you dine in Forrest you will be eating predominantly local produce, whether it’s at the Forrest Brewing Company, which is renowned for its great beer, Platypi Chocolate or Forrest General Store.

While there are loads of things to do, see, eat and drink, there is also a range of community groups, sporting clubs and services in Forrest and its surrounds. So, not only is Forrest a beautiful holiday destination or ideal base for an Otways getaway, it also has all the traits needed for a tree change to live or raise a family.

Make sure you visit Forrest for your next holiday to see what all the fuss is about.

Booked for two nights on the way through from Apollo Bay to Colac. It was so run down and shabby, we asked for a refund and they declined. We decided to move on and take the kids - rather than stay there. Awful. Not recommended.
