The Location
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the beautiful Boyne Valley. Stay with us at the Discovery Centre, Ubobo, a new accommodation facility set on over three hectares.
We offer excellent facilities with comfortable dormitory style rooms accommodating from two to ten people, and groups up to thirty-six in house. All buildings have disabled access.
Campers and Caravaners are welcome at the Discovery Centre, Ubobo, with toilet and shower facilities available. The Centre has a large oval & shady trees, BBQ facilities etc, and is close to the Ubobo Store which has all types of provisions. Centrally located, the Centre is an ideal place to stay to make day trips to surrounding attractions.
If you enjoy an old fashioned BBQ or campfire, this is the place. (Gas BBQ's and kitchen facilities in the covered eating area.)
Camping Fees (excluding major events):
- Camping/Van/Motorhome: Includes ablutions: $10 per site per night (Max 2 people)
- Extra Person: $5 per night
- Children: $2.50 to max $10 per night per family
- Site with Power: $15 per Site per night
- Laundry: $5 per key; Drier: $5 per key
- Please pay cash: correct change is appreciated.

Stayed 3 nights for the Music Campout. Only $130 with great singers and backing bands. Huge flat area in a rural setting. The rail trail is only 100 metres away but still work in progress. Great facilities and easy walk to the shop.

While camped at Boynedale, decided to take a run up to Ubobo to check out this camp site and take some photos. What a great site, removed from the main road and peaceful and quiet. A large flat area with same shade but plenty of open spaces if you are chasing solar. There is limited power points if you want it and pricing is very reasonable. Checked out the only store in town which is quite well stocked. This is the sort of place I will return to for a quiet country getaway.

Fantastic spot on about 5 acres flat grassy ground. Clean toilets and hot showers. Laundry available if needed. Quiet quaint township. TV room with comfy couch. Undercover meeting area with large table and plenty of chairs. It was only us and one other couple for the night! Use of all facilities included in the price. Powered sites were cheap as well. Puts Caravan Parks to shame.
